What I don't understand is the run on .22. I mean, what are we going to do with it, kill rabbits? Used beer cans? That is the LAST round I would stock up on. Maybe it's because it's the only gun a lot of people have (excluding ODT)? I have one .22 and probably 600 rds of ammo that will last me a lifetime. I'm sure as hell not going to be using it in a SHTF scenario.

we go thru 500-700 rds each trip ever since we got those suppressors. Pure fun.....

A knot of people at the gun / rifle counter @ Adventure Outdoors yesterday. Bulk 9mm plinking ammo gone, the 9mm shelf cleaned out. Lines at the cashier... Crazy

On the other hand? After a multi-year malaise in gun/ammo sales, this small scale toilet paper "out of stock" induced micro panic is just what the industry needed.

And my concern is that Popeye's will shut down before I get one of them sammiches...and I thought TP had replaced ammo as the "go to" hoarding item...

Because it the cheapest for most rounds which everyone has.....
