Be careful of Walmart's posted pricing. All the shotgun shells I bought rang up a lot higher once I was checking out.

If it was out of the locked cabinet then it's your own fault for not seeing it. Most of the time customers will pick up the shotgun shells on the shelf and put them back down on some random price so I doubt price match will work.

Would be nice if all of that Walmart ammo was priced the way it was a few years ago. Some of those items are crazy expensive.

I agree. The reason they have SO MUCH ammo at the stores in GA is because no one is buying it because it's expensive. $35+ tax for a 20 round box of your basic hunting ammo is crazy.

My Walmart doesnt have any ammo outside the locked cabinet. Went back the other day and the guy told me a weekend worker lost the key. Just my luck. Even with the increased pricing it is slightly more expensive than academy steel shells, so I'll pay it for brass.

In case anyone is on the edge about buying... Do it now. We always have panics, but it just takes one panic + real problem to to make things so much worse indefinitely in the ammo world.
