And what law would that be? The PIC (pilot in command) is responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft and is liable for any damages that result from unsafe operation. Flying an aircraft over a live shooting range is definitely NOT a safe operation. It doesn't matter if the aircraft is manned or unmanned. They violated private airspace and endangered the safety of everyone on the ground in the process. I'm glad the shooters were able to take it down and I hope they were able to completely destroy it in the process.

For that matter, I hope they spend thousands of dollars building another one and try it again. Shotgun shells are much cheaper than helicopters, who do you think will get tired of this game first?
