Another ammo price rant.

@rawbone I want to give a shout out to Rawbone. I posted/begged on here that I needed 7mm 08 ammo because I had bought a Ruger 77 and didn't have any ammo. He contacted me and sold me 2 boxes for normal price. Said it was Christmas time!! Some great guys on here!!

That's what makes this a great place - way to be a hero Rawbone!!

All about free market pricing, but it sandpapers my sac to see non supporters of the site trying to hold people to the fire.

No one is forced to do buy or sell anything.

My only gripe with the, "Should have bought when it was cheap" crowd is that is obviously not the group of individuals that train on any type of regular basis. Or they'll go to their backyard, shoot a 12 pack of soda cans off a log, and consider themselves "up to snuff"
I hate the ammo prices, but I understand that's the way it is for right now. But I don't want to be told I shouldn't still be buying ammo when I'm regularly working to be more proficient while Cap'n Fudd has been sitting on the same can of 1000 rounds since 2015.

Well if you train on a regualr basis either A: Train less for awhile (if you train as much as you make it seem you will not loss your abilities)
B: Buy more ammo when it was cheap to hold you over to accommodate your needs, I know I did.

I buy now , because I no longer have to buy baby food diapers, or pay child support! Thank you!!

its hard not to think of what i could make with all the subsonic 9mm i have accumulated in the past 4-5 years. ive helped out a couple folks, and did some pre covid trades,

Stooped the child support a diapers years ago. Now it’s college, guns and expenses. Still can’t stop paying for her.(only child)

Replacement cost definitely isnt a thing. Nope, no way. That would be stupid to sell something based upon what it costs to purchase it again.
