I was never a fan of the piston LWRC guns, but recently traded into this new DI model that is probably one of the smoothest shooting platforms I have ever used. The gas system is tuned just right and it isn't over/under gassed. It ran through 700 rounds in my initial testing of every ammo and magazine combination I could come up with and never even stuttered. It simply fed everything and was extremely controllable and very accurate. I only test out to 50 yards because I was mostly testing functioning and handling, but it was a ragged hole at 50 with the MRO on top. The surprise was how clean it was after 700 rounds. For a direct impingement gun, I have never seen one that stayed this clean at this round count. Geissele flat trigger, Trijicon MRO and Omega suppressor with muzzle brake mount make it a pretty nice little package. Nothing else really needed. Very well made and completely ambi lower. Base rifle was 6.5 lbs.
