Well, looks like I was wrong. Not sure which is worse in this case, being wrong - or being right.
He hated Mormons. Then a Mormon killed Kirk...He did what he did.
That first picture is taken in the UP, just west of Makinac Island. The bridge behind is the Might Mack. Not that any of that has any bearing on anything. I just know where it is. Definitely from Michigan...and man, he has little kids. So much hurt on both sides of this.

My grandfather was from Alpina Michigan. I couldn't point to it on a map but I was there a few times as a teenager in the late summer. We had coats on in August. Alpena, Michigan. Yup. On the eastern side of MI, south of Makinac. Definitely colder on that side of the state than on the west.
