another day at the office

5.5 hours in the stand this afternoon,
saw a good little buck [8pt] scent checking a scrape his grand daddy made he knew not to get too close.

I was comfy when I got on stand but got cooler and windy 20' up a tree that is only 12" diameter on a windy day is fun...you can tell by the one pic tree is not much wider then my head 20' up..

It really wasn't that bad I am in A hollow that is sheltered from the wind somewhat''

This just looks like a place where it could happen any time..

be 4 days before I can get back in the woods and I will check cam then too..

very thick on the other side of the power line, they came in and did some trimming a month or so ago and knocked down some of the brush on the power line the deer are really using those areas..

Hopefully someone like my cousin doesn't spot it. That turd saw I had left the hook I put up that hang backpack and stuff on. It was way up in the tree too. I wasn't worried they are 2bucks at walmart. Well the turd climbed up the tree and hang a toilet paper roll on it. That was interesting to find in the dark.

We normally switch trees and stuff if one of us isn't hunting that day. Ill give him credit that was funny to find
