another fail on Adventure Outdoors

lol I got me one of dem public edumications lol. I really don't understand how they can be ok with the loss of such big tickets like that. I posted the same thing on the facebook page im about to go back and see if they removed it or not

I went to AO yesterday before going to the chili cook-off. It was a great day to dust off the motorcycle and take a ride.

I went to the right after entering the store to the pistol cases. Within a minute someone asked me nicely if they could help me. I said no, just looking.

Found something interesting in the case and had someone pull it out for me. All the guys behind the counters were courteous and helpful.

Kept moving over to the left. If there was an employee who wasn't already helping someone else they asked me if I could use some help. I said no thank you.

Basically same experience throughout the store. Place was busy. They call over the intercom to bring guns up to the front for check out and it sounded like every five minutes a gun was being sold.

It was almost like going to a gun show without an admission price. I got to fondle the new Taurus 9mm carbine. The staff seemed friendly and courteous. They even had a 100rd Thompson drum. Don't see those every day.

This is the type of service I recieve most of the time. I know that their pre-order at times sucks but the last time I ordered 2 guns they did not come in within 30 days I asked for a refund and it was given in a heartbeat, no questions asked. I had a gun transfered there and it cost me 30 dollars. Do I transfer guns there anymore, No. I go to places like Cherokee Guns and places like that for transfers. I also buy guns from where it is cheapest and available, and once you buy a gun it is up to the manufacturer for defects correct? Customer service is an interaction of the customer and the service agent, if one comes in with the preception to recieve crappy service then that is what you will probably recieve. I have bought 2 guns in the last month both took me an hour in and out, and I looked at 5 1911s before I chose on the tac ops SIG. I would rather buy 2 guns cheaper at any gun store than pay more because I like somebody a little better.

Another week, another AO-bashing thread. Not saying that I agree or disagree, but can we go easy on AO this week and go back to bashing Dicks and CheaperThanDirt(UntilShippingAndHandling)?
