another fail on Adventure Outdoors

They just hired me last week. I'm supposed to keep Snaggletooth from - eh - getting too friendly with the male customers.
are you the cocky know it all salesman that thinks god made glocks on the seventh day or are you the guy that just don't give a sh**? lol

They lost my business from this past weekend. Did a gun transfer as a seller and had to fill out way too much paperwork and fingerprinted me to ship to another ffl. Wtf for? It had to be done so I did so for a 40$ shipping charge. I asked why the fingerprinting and she said they were required for book keeping - I've shipped thru an FFL before and none of this was a part of the process, I'm thinking of contacting the BATFE to get their take on the matter as I find this way too intrusive.

Cliff notes version - don't ship anything thru AO.

After that, being a glutton for punishment I headed to the gun counter to buy a kimber rifle, the sales guy was cool but told me they didn't have the model in stock. After looking at his monitor he said they had a 7-08 and brought it out. I checked it over for stock function and it seemed ok so I said I'd take it. We headed to the counter, I paid with a credit card which incurred $30 fee. When I got home I pulled the rifle out of the box and checked the barrel to see 7mm wsm stamped on the barrel. Luckily they said bring it in. They said they could apply the cost difference to a special order from kimber but didn't know when it would come in, at which point I said I'll shop elsewhere and to put the money back on my card. They did so, but for the firearm amount only. So for all my efforts I still had to pay for the $30 credit charge for their inventory mistake (by their own admission)! I wouldn't piss on the place if caught fire...Caveat emptor!

My original FFL hung up his license, if anyone can recommend someone or somewhere I need FFL service or a good gunstore near Cobb county...let me know, I'd be grateful!

I've been noticing when searching firearms on gunwatcher lately that CTD has some of the cheapest prices on firearms. Their algorithms must be showing lower demand. You think they really lost any business?
