That's the information that is not shown. If there is any tendency of one breed to be aggressive than another to any great degree, I have never seen it. Every time this question comes up statistics are trotted out that do not take into account the upbringing of the dog. Show me statistics that support your argument about similar upbringing. Talk about a straw man argument! The anti pit people use it all the time.

Your use of the term "straw man" makes me think you don't actually know what it means.

It's when you pretend your opponent made a different, weaker argument in your response instead of confronting the actual argument.

Wouldn't pit bulls have the same percentage of violent owners as other breeds and thus the statistics already take this into account? Unless you can show statistics that point to pit bulls being more prone to abusive/poor owners then this point is moot.

When you live in an area or neighborhood that is majority "ghetto" or section 8 housing, there tend to be a lot more "agressive" pit bulls around.

Like it or not when a pit is not treated the way they should be, and kept in a fenced in area, they will attack.
