Okay I got the answer its a sear block and the hole for it is a larger diameter to prevent the insertion of a sear.

Well, DUH! Only a "Young Whippersnapper" wouldn't know THAT! Live thru two or three more "Ban Scares" & you'll be AMAZED at what kinda' knowledge you pick up...LOL!....mikey357
