Antique car

That’s nice right there. Dad’s was canary yellow with flat black racing stripes and a plain ol’ hood with no scoops. Ford should’ve been ashamed to put “racing” stripes on that slug of a car. I hated that thing. Lol!
Mine had different rally type Ford wheels and I didn't have the rear spoiler. But everything else, pretty much spot on. If the road was the slightest bit damp, it would spin the tires till you let off the gas. It was an automatic. Not bad for that day in time. The car I have now, like Mad Max. At 60mph punch it, it'll get sideways. And that's without NOS, supercharger or turbocharger. You can point that car anywhere you want with just throttle input. No shifting what so ever

I know exactly how you feel man, the kitchen remodel my wife got 17 years ago was supposed to be a brand new ‘09 Harley Heritage SoftTail for me. I got the ‘04 Roadstar 1700 but only after a whole lotta bitchin’ from me for not getting the Harley. 😂 I made out pretty good with it though, a lot less than a H-D even after getting the dual running lights, passenger footboards, small luggage rack & travel bag, leather windshield bag (perfect fit for a 1911 Govt model) new tires, new bigger carb jets and V&H Longshots with the baffles removed. It had just shy of 5k miles when I got it, wasn’t even broke in good yet. Damn good bike that gave me a lot of good times and even a lotta Harley guys thought it was a Harley by the sound until they got a look at it. Lol!

I'm sure it was a lot more reliable. Yea I've heard a lot of Jap bikes make me do a double take. Sounds like a HD.

I finally got
My three car garage built
Good for you!! At our old place, the Garage would've been the size of the house. At our new to us place, it was goin to be 50x100. Decided I could go double decker and make it 50x50. With car lifts, office and storage area over half of it. I guess we can dream........

Nah

The only thunderbirds that are valuable or desirable are the ones that didn’t sell them they were new , the 55-6-7 two seaters

The rest are easy to find a nice one for under $10k if you shop around

Im
Gonna keep the 05 on the road as long as I can , but it’s replacement is gonna be even older .
Amen to that!! Exactly for me too. I knew back in the 70s this day would eventually come. It lasted far longer than I thought it would. Absolutely tired of the crap they're pushing on the public

My brother has a 2025 Silverado
And the tail lights got water in them ,
And stopped working .

It’s covered under warranty but if he had to pay , the new lights are $1,800 EACH , and won’t work until the computer in the tail lights is programmed at the dealership by some expensive computer at the dealer

My next vehicle will be the nicest 88-91 4wd suburban I can find

If I didn’t have a hunting shack with a rough 1/2 mile road into it that requires a 4wd , my next family truckster would be a 1969 four door Thunderbird .

I laughed my *** about the tail lights. The ole GM will do better than those ole Fords. Been there, done that.

I work for Ford, we get a vehicle about every other month with water in the tail lights. It fries the circuitry and messes with the computer and like the Chevy is MEGA expensive to fix. Gone are the days when all you needed was a Phillips screwdriver and a 1056 bulb🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

It's all planned to make them money. What else could it be
