I gave the local taxidermist a 55 gal drum full to repair anthers with a couple weeks ago.i watch a special on tv about a month ago about people trespassing out west for elk sheds crazy some would bring a couple hundred bucks.
I knew a guy in the 90’s that farmed several thousand acres in south ga he would catch rattlesnakes live and keep them in a pit ,and buyers would bid big money for making boots and belts to pocket books.he said some years they bring 20 grand.that was back when they had the rattlesnake round up every year.
My dogs devour those things. The bigger ones get split down the middle with a jig saw (antlers, not dogs).
Yes, I'm not proud to admit, we pay big money for the elk antlers. I'm sure my depression era dad is rolling over in his grave.

We have a 7# teacup chorkie that fights with a rib bone for hours to only have it smaller by about an inch. I guess I need to start shed hunting on the property and see what I can find.
I would never give my dog a deer antler. sure fire way to break teeth
match some up and get a Mountain Mike's skull for $35 and maybe triple you $

sold me a handful for my German Shepherd Kodi a couple years ago. They prefer Elk, but deer will do. Neither last very long with a GSD gnawing on them...
