Yea, I've killed spikes that weighed @135lbs in middle/south Ga.

No bucks in velvet... does a doe in tomatoes count? My wife was asking if I had been eating her tomatoes. Five or six on that vine yesterday and none today. I think my camera may have found the thief! Note her flags and hanging mothballs in a jug, asking the deer to politely stay away but, so far, the deer has ignored her request.

Baby Bucks in Velvet just started sparring this morning-- first I've seen. These are yearlings, I think. Soon to be vanquished when the big boys start making their rounds.
