Any Golfers here?

I've played a couple of times. By the 4th hole, I usually just put up the clubs and drink beer on the golf cart.

Yeah, I go to the course but what I do there bears little resemblance to actual golf. Haven't played in a while but used to shoot in the low 90s. Took lessons. Cured a wicked slice and lost half my distance. But hey! The ball goes straight down the fairway... My 14 year old nephew played from the red tees, me from the white ones and he out drove me. Thinking that was about the time I lost interest...

Golf courses are a waste of a perfectly good shooting range.

Not if one person hits the ball and the other shoots it! Really try its a great time.

In 2005 I broke 80. I am having a hard time now getting under 85. Rust, 30 lbs, and no desire to sweat in the summer have killed it.

I used to play almost every weekend...but since my mother died, I just don't seem to be able to find the time. I played a nice course while on vacation a couple of weeks ago, but that was maybe the 3rd round in the last year or more. Played better than I thought I would...shot about my previous average actually.

But yeah...my golf balls are magnetically drawn to anything on a golf course but the grass in the fairway.
