Anyone have an opinion on Steyr 9mm's?

Well made modern pistol. Interesting factory sighting system. The only gun uglier than a Glock (I love Glock BTW).

Had one in .40 S&W. Great gun. Had advantage over Glock because of supported chamber. Like the trapezoid sights.

Got the 4O and love it way more than glock not that glock is bad I just
Like the barrel sights chamber the rest is about the same I guess

At one point I owned 6 of them. Every 9mm worked perfectly. Every .40 had extraction issues. Trips to SAI fixed nothing. Adding an additional 1911 spring to the extractor fixed them for range use but I never trusted them fully.

Never had the 9mm, but did own a .40 for a minute. Loved the design and sights....But could never get used to it. I also had some extraction issues - Never able to trust it as a carry weapon.

check out the SPP. And semi reasonabley priced(when compared to the MP5K clones)
