Have you checked out Nikon's P223? Its in 3-9x40 & has a BDC for longer shots. It is also priced at $199 @ SWFA.com

x2 for the P223 line for budget optics with magnification. very good choice ^^^

so UTG is OK?

Going to laugh, but I saw a 4x16x40 UTG scope on a heavy barrel AR stack bullets from different lengths all day, but it will have 0 resale value and you will be looked down upon by the Gods of Guns.

Found this...with rebate comes to $330 with PEPR mount...only problem is estimated shipping date is 5-7 months, lol.

I have a Nikon M223 and love it!! BDC reticle is quite accurate. I have shot it out to 300 yards and love it.

please dont put that junk on your gun. get one of these, its functional and can be used with any round, no cartridge specific bdc crap thats not gonna follow trajectory in the winter vs the summer or vice versa. you can do mil estimations, shoot holds, your turrets match the reticle etc etc. and the glass is great.

Keep in mind its second focal plane reticle ,but its not a cadillac price either.
