SKS modified to use bullets for an AK-47.

It just goes to prove that these morons know nothing about guns. First thing he did was refer to the SKS as an "Assault Rifle". The last I checked, it was a semi-auto rifle that used the same round as the AK-47. Unfortunately, these guys will convince the feeble-minded sheep-like people of this country that what they say is the truth. There is so much ignorance in this country about firearms and the media is much to blame. As far as the ATF is concerned, they are not any smarter. Most of these guys do not know one gun from another. The former ATF Supervisor in the story is evidence of that.

I'm suprised they didn't nut up over the Black Talons that came with the Glock, they could have had a field day with that one the way they like to twist and stretch ****.

Wow, I didn't know this would get so much attention. I really just loved some of the quotes and the way they describe things. It's always funny how you can make someone or some issue sound horrible by just choosing your words very carefully. It just frustrates me when the media only tells stories of the bad apples and not the good ones.

I know I've beaten this drum to death, but here goes again. The types of terminology used in these stories wasn't selected accidently. The language was specifically selected to create an emotional response. Terrorists, police grade weapon, sniper rifles, etc.. It is equally important we avoid using the marketing terminolgy developed to chip away at second amendment rights, such as High capacity, Assault Rifle, Sniper Rifle, Street Sweeper, etc. Those terms cause a negative emotional response in the majority of the voting public.
