Anybody else dread going to work on Monday?

Tell me, are you actually not able to change jobs? Just know the grass isn't always greener.
Can't just switch jobs, other jobs/promotions are all competitive. Any other job would deal with different BS but at least people wouldn't (hopefully) literally **** on the floor lol.........

This thread makes me so grateful for my job! I bitch because I commute 3 hours everyday and put up with redundant paperwork and outdated software and the occasional woke class newly mandated by the HR department justifying their position but damn I wouldn't work in your situation.

I learned the hard way that the stress will age you like no vice you can imagine! I have had to reinvent myself a few times over the years in my career, mostly due to economic conditions in the market I was in but I left a very well paying career because of stress induced from my coworkers and the ****ty environment and I have never regretted it. I used to dream vividly of snuffing out my supervisor and knew it was time to change.

I hope your path improves my friend 👍

Week 8 of retirement here. I'm 57. Squirrelled away a nice retirement and pension over the years. The single reason I retired early was the stress. If I didn't quit now, they would have carried me out in a box...

Started planning for this 10 years ago.

jail I can see, but here??? Dammit man
i aint saying its bad everywhere but the plant I worked in from 2002-2016 there were people regularly spread feces on the walls in the john, put their chix wing bones in the toilet along with the Atlanta Journal. One guy got caught pissing in an ink sump. (was running bud light cartons at the time) .
People are nasty....
