Anybody Know What This Bird Is?

I noticed a bird yesterday at the feeder and today he's back again. At first I thought he was a Carolina Wren, but he's as big as a Cardinal so I'm lost. He's so big he's mostly a ground feeder, but when nothing's on the feeder he can have it to himself.

Several live in a Cedar tree in the yard. They stay to themselves.

I had a pair build a nest in a tree in my yard and when I ever I would mow near it they would swoop at me.
