Yeah I hear ya, the first ones that were offered did have some risks and effects to more than a few woman. This one isn't the Norplant brand but some other kind that is suppose to be really a lot safer and better than the original ones, who knows though. I don't think they ever tell you the full risks associated with stuff anyhow. So far no problems for her and she is on her third implant. She does take a Vitamin D sup. for some reason...but that's it. It totally changed her ovary make up...for the better. Some people it's not right for though. I applaud you for your decision. I would do the same if the need was there.
