anyone a pilot? thinking of buying a plane...

The cost factor isn't my primary concern. I am fairly aware of initial and ongoing costs...like a boat, but more money thirsty...im more interested in convenient features, which is more fun to fly, practical, what options you would recommend seeking out (upgraded motor, higher capacity fuel tank, )

I haven't been up in a few years, was working at world airways in the safety dept when obummer took office and screwed everything up. I've got my commercial, instrument and multi. I always enjoyed bigger and faster or lower and slower. Cubs, barons, mooneys, c182 and 210.

When I was in flight school a guy took me on a ride on a gyrocopter powered by a 12a rotary from an rx7. Holy **** is the only way to describe that. We flew up the ocmulgee dodging trees 5 foot off the river. Surprised I'm still here.

I have a friend that has spent considerably more on the instruments than he did on the plane

Pm me if you want to talk about airplanes. I live on a private airstrip, have owned 41 airplanes, 5 helicopters and have approx 12000 hours in everything from ultralights to airliners. I currently fly a boeing 737 as a day job.

I'm suitably impressed

Youve had fun !
