Anyone been to or taken a class at Gun Site Hills?

I also went on the aforementioned bachelor party.It was my first time ever shooting at distances like that and was an amazing experience.

Im just searching around looking for somewhere to shoot my new toy and came across Gun Site Hills out past Athens. Their site sucks but it looks like they do classes as well as competitions out there. The range goes out to 800 yards. I havent heard of or found anything even close to that distance around me. Im in Woodstock, so this would be a 2 hour drive, but worth it to me.

-Anyone been here? (pros/cons)
-Anyone taken a class here or somewhere else for distance shooting?
-Anyone have a better or closer range that goes to at least 4 or 5 hundred yards?

I have been wanting to try this place out too. I just had my first precision rig built and my scope should be coming in tomorrow! I'm in ball ground, just up the road from you. It would probably be a month or 2 before I get the chance to go but if your interested, we might could split the driving cost.

Chief is a good man very knowledgable.I stop by there every once & while his place is near my property.He doesn't put up with any B/S either!
