I wouldn't mind a nice hardtop with a V8 transplant. I watch the guy on Four Wheel TV on Motortrend and he's always doing V8 swaps in jeeps. But I'm just like him I would have to replace the differentials and all that stuff just to keep it from breaking from the power of the engine. Modifying Jeeps is just downright expensive! That's the real reason I don't own one.

OK, I had to look that up. And you ain't an old man....yet. As far as I know......Just drove hard and put up wet all your life.

I had a friend that had a Jeep in the 80s. It drove and rode nice. The only problem was when we went 4 wheelin, the manual shifter would pop off the side of the transmission when you got it in a twist. You'd have to get out and fix it on the spot because you're stuck until you do. That's probably the last Jeep I've been in, 40yrs ago
