Along with my near-addiction to Jeopardy, I gots to have my daily fix of a few rounds computer Scrabble.
Well, I thought I'd seen it all, but a couple months ago, something really odd happened.
I started a game, but didn't have any decent words to play, so I got rid of my junk letters, forming the word "tutu".
But then the computer "passed", and I'd received some more premium letters after my first turn, and nothing had changed on the board, so I passed too.
Then the computer passed again, then me again, and so on.
All of a sudden the game ends, and I LOST !!! The game automatically ends after 3 passes from both sides ( I knew this, of course, it just snuck up on me), but I had to eat several high-point letters, so my 8 points wasn't enough to cover my negative points, and with only a single actual word played by me, and none from the computer, it wins the game with NEGATIVE points !!!
I'm thinking it's gotta be among the weirdest Scrabble games ever played.
