I went to the gunshow at the Jacksonville FL fairgrounds this weekend and the prices are criminal. Not a decent reasonable price anywhere I could see. I saw a beat up SKS that looked liked it had been run over and smacked on a pole a few times and the guy wanted $300 for it. I saw a Browning takedown model that another guy wanted $680 for so I guess I'll hold onto mine. Another dealer had an Interarms copy of the Browning .22 that somebody had completely stripped the finish off the entire stock and left it dry. The guys price for that restoration special was $199. Didn't buy a thing!

Some good dealers had tables set up at the one I attended just a lil while back had some good deals and the store has equally good deals so I guess it depends on what show and what dealers are there..

I usually see decent prices on new guns, though nothing that can't be beat with a little shopping around. The prices on used guns are way too high.

I've never found a bargain on a gun at a gun show. I have occasionally found a bargain on other items. I found some very good authentic wool army blankets for 15 bucks. They come in handy for camping in cold weather.
