I am putting the finishing touches on a trio of AK47's that I built back in 2008 (yep, 2008!). I had built all three, test fired them, and then took them apart for cerakoting. Then, the recession hit me personally (out of work for about 9 months), so this project went on the backburner.
Frankly, I am just now recovering from that incident, I recently got my guns back from cerakoting, I went to put them together... and somewhere along the way I misplaced a bolt! So now I am set to purchase a new bolt and need to recheck headspace on the gun. Since I only need the headspace gauges for a few minutes, I hate to spend $70.
I'd gladly pay to rent a set, or trade something (ammo? a magazine?) for rental.
