Anyone have an opinion on the Walther P22

luv the P22's trigger; much better than the SR22. the SR22 is probably better built, but trigger wise, not close.

The Walther is ammo picky. I had 1 i put 20k through. My son has the SR22 eats everything.

No, I bought it a few weeks ago cause that’s what I wanted after comparing the 2. I’ve owned a older p22 before all the changes. I regretted selling it.

i've had one since they first came out. only trouble i had was with bent magazine lips causing feed jams. they are nice with suppressors since they keep bulk quiet

Good little pistol, good balance, no trouble feeding or ejecting. Sights will fall off, p22 is supposed to have a life time warranty, say they will not cover items that just fall off. Had 5 pop off , locktite and screw fixed it, even put fiber optic sights on it. In short weather warranty and customer service sucks. First 3 sights came with the pistol

I have the sr22. Nice 22 shooter and eats everything Suppresses well, except with my arc22.
Not sure what Walther 22 had the issue with the slides cracking, but you might want to Google it. I think it was the early generations that had the issue.

I was one that had a turd, it would only cycle CCI’s, mostly reliable. Sounds bad, but I would rather have the TX22 over the Walther one Ruger. It’s higher capacity and eats everything, suppressed or not.
