Anyone have any experience with "The Georgia Traverse?"

Damn! Bet that was a fun day!
It was but it was a LONG day, too. I was up @ 0400 to drive a neighbor to Hartsfield Jackson. Then hopped in the Jeep and left the house @ 0800. Didn't get out of the Jeep for lunch until 1300. Then didn't get home until almost 1600. Twelve hours of being on the move. :faint:

That IS a long day. Last weekend I left the house, took 60 S to Gaddistown and went over the top down to 3 Forks and back to 60 N via Doublehead Gap. It was beautiful out but a long ride.

Is it a Jeep trail or doable for a big 4x4 F150?
Eh...you could probably get away with it in an F150. You'd definitely have some limbs and leaves and stuff raking the truck. None of the approach angles or anything were very severe. A few of the corners were tight-ish, but I think you'd be fine.

Loads of bikes out today, too. Made me miss mine. I waved at one group of guys and they waved back. Made me wonder if anyone in a Jeep had ever told them to keep it rubber side down.

Man it was a good time and great to meet you. Really nice country and I'm up for the Copper creek run or maybe the Chatsworth loop sometime. I like the action shots!
