I see the yt videos and the engineer in me sees how they would help but does anyone on ODT have experience with them?

You plumb water to the condenser and mount an air-pressure valve that only flows water when the unit is running. You disconnect in winter.

Anyone have experience with one? Results?

I was born at night (but not last night) so I understand how shills on yt work. Interested in anyone's firsthand experience and results.

Swamp cooler or AC unit? One or the other.....

Might help in a dry climate, but less effective in climates with 50% or more humidity on a regular basis....

Water quality would determine scale basis, filter in bad water areas would help.

I almost fell for it, instead I make sure to keep all vegetation at bay around the outdoor unit so it has max air circulation, I clean the coils during season changes, keep swapping out the green cheap ass filters in the return, dust the return grate or keep it clean indoors, I also like to check the drip line in the attic and pour a little bleach water mix in the drain pipe when i change the indoor return filter.
