Anyone have,or know of a good digital tv antennae to run in the rome area?

Go to antennaweb.org. Enter your address and it will tell you what antenna to buy and what channels you might expect. Be honest as to how high you are willing to mount the antenna. It can make a very big difference.

PS. There is no such thing as an analog or digital antenna. Just antennas tuned for VHF and UHF or both.

One of the problems with Rome, is if she lives down near the rivers it is very low elevation. You may get the Chattanooga channels better than Atlanta. I am south of Rome and about 250 feet higher in elevation and we always had fair reception on the local Atlanta channels but not always great.

In for info on the Athens area.

Anyone have sucess in Athens?
I'm about 25min North of Athens on HWY 29. I'm getting all the major networks and their sub-channels, plus a couple of movie channels that mostly play straight-to-video movies you've never heard of LOL. All that makes for a total of 16 channels I'm getting.

My antenna is directional and I have it pointed towards SC because I'm so far North that I pick up the Greenville/Spartanburg stations much better than any of the Atlanta channels.

Oh, I almost forgot... I also pick up 2 or 3 Spanish-only channels, but blocked them so they don't even show up on my channel guide.

My daughter is in a rental in the low part of town. I really don't have the option of installing a mast, but I did get an antenna on the chimney above the roof. There are a jillion cables on this old house, not sure I even have the right one hooked up.

We tried a couple of different window antennas direct on the TV, bit they didn't get anything.
