champion, etc.,all the **** that you think use
to mean something is only a couple of corps.
now.

somethings wrong with your car.

Youve got something sucking the battery down. Take the Neg terminal off the battery and put a test light between the post and the Neg lead. Start by pulling the power lead off the alternator and see if the light goes out. If not, make sure all your dome ligjts and accessories are off and start pulling fuses until you find the circuit that is draining it.

Work every time. When you pull a fuse and the test light goes out, you know which circuit is drawing your battery. Just make sure you use a 12 volt test light.

It used to, not so much anymore.

You've got a battery draw. It could be a control unit not going to "sleep." On certain cars, it can take an hour or more for all control units to enter sleep mode and stop consuming power. If you do a battery draw test, the end current consumption should be less than 60mA. Anything over that is considered excessive and can kill a battery over time. Since yours goes dead within a couple days, its probably drawing 0.5 amps or more. Hope this helps and good luck with the hunt.

It's not a short, if it was your car would have been a pile of smoldering goo long ago.

A short will blow a fuse. A current draw will draw the charge out of the battery. Could be a bad switch that is nit turning a glovebox inside light off when the glovebox door is shut, under hood light. Many things can pull a current draw on the battery. But the test light between the neg battery post and neg cable will always light up if anything is drawing it.

Also, pulling fuses could wake up wake up circuits when reinstalling them. One method I've used over the years is to measure the voltage drop across a fuse. It would be measured in millivolts. The more amperage the circuit/consumer is using, the higher the reading will be across the fuse. It's not a foolproof method but it's another technique to aid with the diagnosis.
