Anyone here install windshields?

I screwed up and used Safelite. They destroyed the rubber around my windshield then tried to reinstall it without telling me. I called, they hung up on me and blocked my phone. I tried to contact them on FB but was ignored so I posted pics of the damage and they blocked me. Don't ever use Safelite, they suck, they really really suck

I've got an old truck so the auto store doesn't carry replacement rubber. My only option that I'm aware of is trying a junk yard. I thought about calling again with a fake request of a windshield for a very expensive car then telling them to **** off when they arrive

Have you tried rock auto?

If you have comprehensive on the insurance, Safelite is $50

My USAA policy doesn't cover windshield replacement unless the crack is in the driver's view. $500 deductible.

Glass Wizard in Temple,ga Pretty sure he’s on here. He’s done a few for me and did one on my parents Audi SUV with heads up display last Friday at their house.
