Anyone here with a Frenchie? If so, is it dumb?

I just picked up a 7 month old brindle male to attempt to be a companion with my 6 year old shepherd. My shepherd was trained by me by age of 7 months. It’s always ever only been him and I but now I have this small dog and trying to get them to get along.


THIS FRENCHIE IS SO DUMB.

Maybe it’s because my shepherd is so smart.

Has no drive at all. I trained my GSD with treats and a tennis ball. I have yet to find out what this dog likes besides food. It’s been 2 days though. I will figure it out

Yes and yes it was dumb not the breed of dog for us The one we had tried to pick a fight with every dog it saw Would run off if givin the slightest chance We finely sold her And won't get another

Having lived with multiple dogs before, they are all on some level of retardation.

I have a friend someone give it to his daughter.the only thing I see useful is they bring good money selling it.it is diffinitely not the sharpest tack in the box.

Mine is very smart. The wife was very selective with choosing a breeder, maybe has something to do with it. He picks up things fast as far as training, have to work passed his stubbornness sometimes though
