Anyone hunt south Ga islands?

Going with a group in Oct and was wondering if anyone had any pointers on prep items or tips, thanks.
Sapelo island to be exact.

Remington Wipes... wipe down your equipment as your in the field.

Brush chaps are nice for down there also don't hesitate to bring a change of shoes. I have never hunted on sapelo but other small islands and always got feet wet and more briers, razor grass than I care to remember.

Just be glad that the gnats (well, most of them) and the mosquitoes will be gone

Hunted Ossabaw (Spelling???) I few years ago. It was awesome. Even if you don't kill anything it is worth the trip....

I got invited to a shotgun deer hunt on st Simons a few years ago. Couldn't make it, lots of deer down there.
