Please don't take this the wrong way but if you're looking for "old school" you better be prepared to pay for "crazy expensive". Old school means experienced. You can't get "experienced" w/o paying for it.
Only thing I can think of is something on FB marketplace and I don't have FB. May be some independent contractors out there?

My barber has a reasonable price ($30 bucks) old school or also he does the new guys style as well. But on my hair, he uses just scissors as I requested. The problem is that he is on Delk Rd, Marietta.
DARN!!! you make a drive to get there.....I had my old barber for over 50 years....he moved all over the place....I followed him everywhere....sometimes it was a loooong drive....he finally retired a couple years ago....very sad time....hard to find a barber you like....
I usually just end up at the Sport Clips near my house. But I keep what hair I have left pretty short so I don't need a fancy barber. Just need someone who doesn't mess up what isn't far off being a military high and tight.
Plus they do the whole hot towel on the face, scalp massage, hair wash thing so I don't need to go straight home and shower right away to get all the loose, cut hair off.
