Anyone remember your military branches catch slogan from when you decided to sign your life over?

I'm pretty sure it was "Aim High" in 1981.

Interestingly enough, the USAF motto from 1947 to 1956 was "Above All". Didn't know that when I picked my ODT name. I picked it as a nod to the Air Force and my faith in God.

The Army Aviation Flight Center and School motto is “Above The Best”. A nod to the Infantry fighting on the ground.

This was the prevailing recruiting slogan when I signed up. Aparently I wasn't "good" enough.... they disqualified me medically at Atlanta MEPS.

P.S. The Corps also used the slogan "The Few. The Proud. The Marines" during those years, but that never stuck in my head the way "a few good men" did.
