It was not pleasant! I still have never fired it either. I bought it on 10/30, looked at for 10 minutes, put it in a box and dropped it off at Fedex. Since it's been back I haven't gotten the chance to take it to the range.

Sent mines in September 1st 2013 and got it back the first week of November 2013

With the possibility of a slam fire when the slide is released, I felt it was imperative to get that taken care of. Although always pointed in a safe direction when the slide is released. There is not a good place for a gun to go off in the house.

Sent mine in mid October,,Got it back 1st week of January. Still havent shot it.
