I had one for years that was flat black with kind of a course finish. I had never seen another like it. Someone stole it back in the day. Pissed me off so much I just stuck with bics after that.

Anyone Still Use a Zippo?

Once upon a time I always had my Zippo... since then I've gotten cheap and just have the disposable ones. But I do keep a lot of them.
I also have had rechargeable lighters (butane). Only problem is that the refill valves have gone bad on the ones I've owned.

My stepdad still uses a Zippo. Has ever since I've known him. That's 20+ years. He has a few nice ones, but he just uses one of the cheap ones for an everyday lighter.
I have like a zippo/lighter problem! I have some pretty cool older ones. Plus I just found a tub of really old lighters in a horder house I was helping clean. Will try and post some pics up in a few.
Have one that I ran over with a semi, still works from being ran over. A small dent in the cap. Another that is about 10+yrs old and the spring is broke and the hinge is about to fall apart. And then a new plain satin finnish. Need to mail the other two in for repair.
the one on the far left was a rebel flag lighter , i carried it for over ten years , the other two i just keep as collectors , i never seen another camel lighter like the one in the middle

i had a camel like that years ago (or very close), if remember right, got it with the ... what were they camel bucks?
have owned more than i can probably count.. i don't break 'em, they seem to disappear after a while, i'm sure there's a dozen or more along the roads i used to ride LOL , so i always carry a bic for backup.. i think there's a brushed stainless under my bed right now
