Not on a regular basis. Sometimes I will use an additive that mixes with water to help clean it out of the tank. Or one designed to remove carbon deposits out of the cylinders. Most good gasoline should have enough to keep it pretty clean though.

Just give it an occasional "Italian Tune Up" and you should be fine.

I run a bottle of fuel system cleaner about every other month, especially before a big trip.

And for the lawn equipment, once the Stabil-ized non-ethanol is used up, I'll be adding Stabil to ethanol gasoline. My neighbor has been mixing Stabil with ethanol fuel for outdoor power equipment for 17 years with no issues.

Absolutely great choices guys, I run seafoam every once in a while. I haven’t tried any octane booster or anything like that.

I have also read a lot on this and ya, Techron has come up in a positive light more often than not. There’s a ton of choices out there. IMO it’s mostly paying for a little bit of peace of mind and that’s about it. But then again I don’t have equipment to quantify ejector balance rates or what have you. And for mileage, shoot. I gave up recording that a while ago.

Seafoam to clean the engine and then change the plugs and all fluids (usually when I get a used car)

Techron once in a while maybe like once a year figure it can’t hurt.

I have heard of Lucas in the gas I have tried it but have no easy way to colllect data to see if any of this really helps.

Be nice to see a long term independent crowd funded survey or maybe like on YouTube about this.

Project Farm on youtube has some videos on seafoam and other additives, probably the best channel out there for product reviews
