I was amazed at the violence, the lines, the fights and shootings when Popeyes came out with a spicy chicken sandwich in August of 2019. I thought it was ridiculous and spoke to the low quality of life those folks must have to get so exercised over a damned sandwich.

Then....in about 2020 or early 2021, I tried one on a lark since there were no cars in the drive thru.

I can completely 100% understand some homey getting capped in his ass over jumping the line for that sandwich. 100%. Makes anything Chic-fil-A produces seem like fried mush.

Plus, there's always this.....

What makes a Popeyes spicy sandwich spicy is the sauce they pour on the bottom half of the bun that makes it soggy.
What makes a Chic-fil-A spicy sandwich spicy is the spices marinated in the meat itself.
