And also what was his connection to Liz? Why did he love her so much? He wasnt her father. What was in that bag that Mr Kaplan died trying to expose a few seasons ago? Several things need closure.I saw this thread days ago and skipped over it until I had a chance to watch the last 2 episodes.
It has been obvious for the last few seasons that there was obviously something seriously wrong with Red (hence the vast array of medical personnel available and his disposition of his assets) and we knew that death was the inevitable conclusion for the series.
I actually don't believe that Red's ending was that far out there. He has always lived on the fringes of society and there's no way that he goes out in a nursing home sucking on a tube.
Red had always lived on the metaphysical boundaries between emotion, philosophy and logic.
My only issue is what becomes of the task force? That's the part that left me wondering.
