I’ve got an H&R single shot .410 that I cut the stock way down on for my daughter when she was little that I was thinking of taking to the “buy back.” I’m not sure who would want it or whether I could ever get more than $100 for it. I need to get some long guns out of my safe, and that would be a start.

Its hard for me to fathom the reasoning of folks that think it’s a great deal.

And cop does what? Why would the cop wave them over?
I knowingly take stolen goods…felony….they knowingly take stolen goods…they hand out a check….
Does it even matter anymore? Yeah they shouldn’t, and if you were in possession of a stolen gun you might get off, although it wouldn’t be hard to convince an Atlanta jury you were “knowingly” buying a hot gun.
But let’s just say your very expensive lawyer got you off on the charges, after bail, lost revenue and the cost of your defense, is it really worth it to try to buy a few cheap guns? Probably with the intention of “flipping” them anyway?
Naw the risks and the math just doesn’t ad up in my book.
I rode by earlier, saw three people on the side of the road by the Civic Center and a group across the street buying. Don't know what kind of success they were having but the group across the street from the civic center had someone pull up to them.
