Thanks man, I actually cooked it that night and I covered it and reduced it to a simmer. It made a little over 2 gallons and I must say it is some tasty stuff. Once I stained all the chunks out of liquid it made some delicious apple sauce as well. Thanks for sharing the receipt.

Someone I gave it to told me they added some apple crown to it and it made it even better. I'll have to try that too.

I just put two gallons on the stove and soon the house will be smelling great. I use the original recipe in the first post less one cup of white sugar. My wife shops for my ingredients and can not find apple juice "not from concentrate ". Each year I just figure if we can't find it the other will have to do. It hasn't been a problem in the past but if anyone has a suggestion where to get it I would like to know for the next batch.

Publix is your best bet. If they don't have it in stock you can request them to order it and they will!

I wanted a childhood cereal they didn't have and they special ordered it for me and called me when it came in....
