i just finished my 308, with a little research and hunting i ended up building the gun of my dreams, along with saving a ton of money. i love my 308 and it was a breeze to build. i really enjoyed it and i can't wait for my next. trust me.. knowing what your running makes a world of difference. i know my gun in and out and know how to break it down to the simplest form. it might not be the cheapest route but as i saw it i was developing the gun of my dreams rather than waisting money on something i could develop. you'll enjoy building your own! mine was worth it plus it was very simple. and it didn't hit my wallet all at once (financially)
