I know this is going to be a long shot, but I figured I would try.

I am looking to get my first AR. I do not need all kinds of extras or a specialized AR. I just would like to get something that is sturdy and good for a cheaper price. I am looking to stay in the 600-700 dollar range. I don't know a whole lot about AR-15's, but I do know I want to stay away from a few things...

I am not particularly interested in any bushmaster carbon 15's, I don't want a plastic gun

I don't want any M & P Sports

I don't want any AR's that don't have forward assist or fixed sights

I realize I am being very specific but I just want to make sure I don't waste my money. If anyone has anything like this that isn't trying to sell it for what they bought it brand new for (I'm not paying brand new price for a used gun), or trying to make money on let me know.

Isn't this like asking for cheap snow at the North Pole? If you don't like any of the 50 for sale on the ODT, there are insane deals all over the internet. $650 will buy you a very nice gun. It's a huge buyers market.
