Not really sure. I remembered that name and seems like it has been around awhile. About three months ago I picked up a Extar 9 just to use on my range. The Extar was pushing 550 by the time I added everything to it.Did the company making the JR Carbine go under or change their name? Because if you look at the side ambi charging upper that's what it is.

I scored an Extar during Covid or maybe in 21. Still ain't fired it yet. When I ordered mine they were damn near impossible to get. I finally emailed a customer service lady and she said they were changing it up and if I wanted one of the gen 1 models she could hook me up.Not really sure. I liked the JR Carbine when I first saw it. I liked the side charging and ability to change it as well as the ejection to the other side. But compared to other later offerings the JR seems a little clunky these days.Just Right Carbine is still in business. They actually have at least 2 departments using their PCCs. The one in Ohio uses them in .40 with their Smith & Wesson M&P .40 pistols. The mags work in either the PCC or pistols. I think the other department is in North Carolina.
