I've done a detailed write for this mags up on the new home of the Kalash thread.
Followers are non-tilt, a close copy of the followers in the Okay mags. Spring is coated with anti-corrosion stuff.
Cause he's former KGB...hey, that's the word on the street.
Crap, now there's probably a kill team headed to my current location.
I would ask what KGB taste like but I'm afraid that you really know...
UPDATE:
Since my purchase of a total of 18 magazines:
I have taken these magazines as well the dedicated AK’s on two range trips.
I have shot exclusively Wolf and Tulammo 123 gr. FMJ and 122 gr. FMJ steel case ammo.
Each magazine has been through 2 reloads with no functional issues – see final note.
The rifles were shot by young teens, teenagers (rapid fire), my parent (mother, single shot on a rest), my adult children, my brothers and their adult children and spouses.
There were NO functional issues with the magazines.
Final Note – Some of the magazines jammed out of the wrapper while loading the initial time usually around the 3rd to 5th round. For the ones that jammed I used a large screw driver to push down on the follower and compress the spring several times. This seemed to fix the jam issue. Maybe there were burs on the follower or the magazine itself.
