AR manufacturers worth owning - high quality...

Nobody talks about them and I've never even seen a factory rifle on this site, but SLR B15 is probably my favorite AR I own, and ADM4 is a close second.

KAC was a sloppy let down imo, so maybe I'm stupid.

My little brother has an SLR it’s nasty. Super sexy, well built gun.

This. But these days it's best to really go over whatever you purchase (or have someone that actually knows how the function and can gauge it like cmshoot . Even the "top tier" brands these days have issues. Usually easy to fix but you have to know where to look.

I'd probably move Noveske off but I haven't seen much from them these days so probably still good to go. I would also add in DD, LMT (still have to check it!), LWRC, Centurion.

I haven't been a Noveske complete AR fan for a while, although I still like many of their parts.

LMT has been almighty hit n' miss for the past couple of years. I've seen some atrociously out of spec lowers from them.

All in all, I'm good with the LWRC DI guns, and loathe their piston AR's.

I like Colt for the quality of their parts, although their civilian guns are lacking on proper assembly techniques. Easily corrected, if you have the knowledge and tools.

I like DD, and the Geissele Super Duty.

SOLGW and Centurion Arms are my current favorites. BCM, as well.

I yield to cmshoot’s experience but as a novice I like DD although I’m my experience they like a heavy more expensive bullet for long range work.I would love to handle and shoot a LMT.

I have a Colt SP-1 , from the ‘70s that my father gave me….looks brand new ! I have had it for many decade and I wouldn’t trade or sell it for anything !! It is a very quality rifle , for damned sure !!
