AR manufacturers worth owning - high quality...

Standard...BCM, FN

Fancy...Geissele SuperDuty,
LWRC DI, Daniel Defense,
Sons of Liberty.

Different and hate cleaning?
LWRC piston or LMT.

BCM with what ever configuration you want is really hard to beat price wise.
Took my LWRC piston to the range last week, agree not much to clean!

Wilson Combat can be a smooth rifle but at their price point they fall behind.

Noveske was awesome once and you almost never saw one unless you lived that life...not so sure now days.

When it was announced Geissele was going to start building AR's some guys were scoffing about it.
I told them if he builds them like his triggers he will put a hurting on his competition.

Some manufacturers don't put in bids for government contracts.
The powers that be show up and hand them a blank check and say build till this runs out...because they know the quality is there.

Geissele, Daniel Defense, LMT and LWRC are some no budget builders.

BCM is better than Colt now far as I'm concerned.
FN builds a better M4 than Colt.

All of them should go back to basics with at least one carry handle fixed sights rifle in their line up in my opinion.
I don't care if it's NIB, QPQ Tennifer Nitride bang wizz chitty chitty bang bang.

We have progressed the science and machining of the AR enough they all should have adjustable gas, less cleaning and MOA capability with quality ammo.

I am in the market for a new AR, I would like to purchase something that is a quality build from the factory. I have a couple including a Seekins Precision that I built four or five years ago, but I'd like to have something that is completely assembled, dependable, and high quality out of the box. I have been looking at Q, CMMG, Cheytac, POF, etc. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Regarding purpose - This will basically be a personal protection weapon, light, red dot, iron sights. I am not planning to go to war but I would like to have something that is capable should the need arise...
So few moving parts in these builds, I have milled 80% lowers and the dirt cheapest barrels, that run as good as money can buy!
Just take u time & get it tuned in right!

LaRue PredatOBR. The machining is some of the best I've seen. I have one that has not been shot since it came from the factory so I cannot speak to operation/durability. It's a 7.62, 14.5 in pinned and weld, and breaks down into a toolbox. Currently considering selling it. The LaRue's are pricey but I think they have a pretty good reputation.
